Obituary

Mr. William Everette Tuttle, age 78 of Portland, TN died Monday, June 28, 2021 at his home in Portland, TN. Mr. Tuttle was born June 29, 1942 in Westmoreland, TN the son of the late Arthur Allen and Mamie Taylor Tuttle.

Mr. Tuttle is survived by his wife Roberta Tuttle of Portland, TN. A son, Glenn Tuttle (Tina) of Portland, TN, a daughter Eva Annette Tuttle-Burris (Craig) of Scottsville, KY and a step-daughter Amber Ladd (John) of Ashland City, TN. A brother Charles Tuttle (Brenda) of Portland, TN and a sister Mable Spears of Westmoreland, TN. Five grandchildren; Isaiah Tuttle, Elizabeth Tuttle, Hannah Kirby(John), Casey Eaton and Blake Ladd, two step grandchildren Michael Ann Burris and Murphy Burris with four great grandchildren. 

Along with his parents, Mr. Tuttle was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred and Hillious Tuttle and two sisters, Olene Ladd and Ann Lois Swindle.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, July 2, 2021 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Portland, TN. The family has chosen cremation following the visitation on Friday. Gilbert Funeral Home in honored to be entrusted with the arrangements for the Tuttle family.
