Tammy Kay Floyd, age 58 of Portland, TN died Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, TN. Ms. Floyd was born October 15, 1962 in Portland, TN the daughter of the late Glenn. Dunning.

Ms. Floyd is survived by her mother, Mary Lee Wade of Portland, TN. Two daughters, Jessica Plyler-Simpson of Uwharrie, NC and Meghan Westhorp of Goodlettsville, TN. A son, Mark Westhorp of Hendersonville, TN. Two brothers, Tracy Dunning of Bethpage, TN and Tony Dunning of Russellville, KY. Two grandchildren, Evelyn (Evie) Barnard and Charlotte Barnard along with several nieces and nephews.

Along with her father, Tammy was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Dunning. Tammy was Seventh Day Adventist faith.

The family has chosen cremation. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Gilbert Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements for the Floyd family.
