Mrs. Ruby Marie McCoin, age 82 of Portland, TN, died Thursday, August 6, 2020 in Franklin, KY. Mrs. McCoin was born March 1, 1938 in Portland, TN the daughter of the late Guy and Emma Lou Pirtle.

Mrs. McCoin is survived by her two sons Mike McCoin (Carolyn) of Portland TN and Glenn McCoin (Angela) of Westmoreland TN. Two daughters Nora Lou Perdue of Portland TN and Rita Carol Hartsock (Mark) of Franklin KY. A brother Wayne Pirtle (Dana) of Nashville TN. Six grandchildren Carly Grant, Katie Adams, Charlie McCoin, Kelsey Bowen, Alex McCoin, and Eric McCoin. Five great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Mrs. McCoin was preceded in death by her husband, Billy McCoin and a granddaughter, Kayla Perdue. Mrs. McCoin was a member of First Baptist Church in Portland TN and was a avid quilter and seamstress. 

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Sherron Cemetery in Portland,TN. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM Sunday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Portland TN.
