Mr. Ronny Lee Cantrell, age 77, died Tuesday April 20, 2021 at Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, TN. Mr. Cantrell was born June 16, 1943 in Sumner Co., TN the son of the late Melvin and Gracie Cantrell.

Mr. Cantrell is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Cantrell of Portland, TN. Three sons, Alvin Cantrell (Sherry) of Portland, TN, Mike Cantrell (Tina) of Westmoreland, TN and Thomas Thompson (Jamie Brooks) of Castalian Springs, TN. Three brothers, Melvin Cantrell of Lafayette, TN, Larry Scruggs of Columbia, TN and Thomas McCormack of Cookville, TN. Eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Portland, TN with Bro. Troy Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Old Brush Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until service time Saturday at Gilbert Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Rodney Campbell, Josh Cantrell, Jake Cantrell, Cody Brooks, Thomas Thompson and Dylan Garrison.
