Obituary

Mrs. Peggy Elaine Fields, age 65 of Portland, TN, died Sunday, January 10, 2021 at her home in Portland, TN. Mrs. Fields was born November 4, 1955 in Portland, TN the daughter of the late Raymond and Lena Hesson.

Mrs. Fields is survived by her husband, James “Ricky” Fields of Portland, TN. Two daughters, Tonya Ryan (Ronnie) of Portland, TN and Brandi Huddleston (Wayne) of Gallatin, TN. A brother, Larry Hesson of Portland, TN along with three grandchildren Taylor Stagner of Bloomington, IN, Bayleigh Watson and Knox Huddleston both of Gallatin, TN. 

Along with her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Hesson. Elaine was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Portland, TN. Burial will follow at Old Brush Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday and from 9:00 AM until service time Thursday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
