Ms. Susie Beth Collins age 77 of Portland, TN, died Friday, April 3, 2020 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN. Ms. Collins was born June 4, 1942 in Richmond, KY the daughter of the late Ruford and Ruby Madden. Ms. Collins is survived by two sons, Jeff Collins of Franklin, KY and Marty Collins of Holly, MI. Two daughters, Sherry Cantrell and Valerie Broadwater both of Portland, TN. Four brothers, Howard Madden of Berea, KY, Eddie Madden of Peoria, AZ, Lewis Madden of Cartersville, KY and Hugh Madden of McKee, KY. Three sisters, Jean Madden of McKee, KY, Ila Bell of McChesney, IL and Nanny Smith of McKee, KY. Former husband and special friend, Earl Collins of Jackson, MI. Five grandchildren; Olivia Esters, Rachel Beth Foster, Joshua Cantrell, Tiffany Barker and Jacob Cantrell. Four Great grandchildren; Faith Collins, Hanna Beth Collins, Liam Barker and Nicholas Aulds. Along with her parents, Susie was preceded in death by her grandson, Jason Collins. She was a member of Crosspoint Tabernacle Church in Franklin, KY Private graveside services will be held 1:30 PM Sunday, April 5, 2020 at Perdue Cemetery in Portland, TN. A private family visitation will be held Sunday before the graveside services at Gilbert Funeral Home in Portland, TN.
