Obituary

Mrs. Mary Pauline Potts, age 94 of Portland, TN died Friday, January 1, 2021 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Potts was born January 8, 1926 in Ft. Towson, OK the daughter of the late James and Katherine Taylor.

Mrs. Potts is survived by her husband, Charles Potts of Portland, TN. A son, Jackie Monroe Conlee of Spring, TX. Two grandchildren John Sullivan and Leslie Usimaki, three great grandchildren Jessica Sullivan, Jordan Ray Sullivan and Amber Usimaki along with two great great grandchildren Dixie and Carter Usimaki.

Along with her parents, Mrs. Potts was preceded in death by a daughter Yvonne James, a brother and six sisters. Mrs. Potts was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Old Brush Cemetery in Portland, TN with Bro. Tim Colovas officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service. Gilbert Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements for the Potts family.
