Obituary

Mr. John Thomas McPherson, age 42 of Gallatin, TN died Friday July 30, 2021 at his home in Gallatin, TN. Mr. McPherson was born November 18, 1978 in Atlanta, GA.

Mr. McPherson is survived by his daughter, Maddie McPherson of Spring Branch, TX. His parents, Thomas and Angie McPherson of Gallatin, TN. His sister, Ryan Rygmyr (Tyler) of Nashville, TN, his brother Joshua McPherson of Long Beach, CA along with two nieces, River and Skye Rygmyr.

John was a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in music. He was an accomplished classical guitarist and enjoyed playing the piano, flute and mandolin along with the classical guitar. John loved baseball, songwriting and the Lord. John will be greatly missed by his family and numerous friends.

Funeral services will be held 6:00 PM Monday, August 2, 2021 at Freedom Church in Gallatin, TN with Bro Terrell Somerville and Bro. Moses D. Woloquelli officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until service time Monday at Freedom Church in Gallatin, TN. Graveside services will be be held 10:00 AM Tuesday August 3, 2021 at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens in Nashville, TN.
