Obituary

Mr. James Edward Robinson, age 72 of Portland, TN died Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Sara Cannon Caner Center in Nashville, TN. Mr. Robinson was born February 18, 1949 in Gallatin, TN the son of the late Anna Belle Robinson.

Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife, Janice Robinson of Portland, TN. Two sons Shane Kinney (Jennifer) of Gallatin, TN and Jamie Kinney (Six) of Portland, TN. Four daughters; Lori Johns, Regina Poole, Sirena Clubbs and Melissa Moore (Bobby) all of Portland, TN. Eleven grandchildren and several, great grandchildren. 

Along with his mother, Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by a step brother, Artie Dixon and a step sister, Mary Dixon.

Funeral services will be held 6:00 PM Monday, May 17, 2021 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Portland, TN. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until service time Monday at Gilbert Funeral Home. The family has chosen cremation following the service on Monday evening.
