Ms. Hilda Trouten age 80 of Portland, TN, died Monday, June 28, 2021 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Gallatin, TN. Ms. Trouten was born May 4, 1941 in Laredo, TX the daughter of the late Vicente and Cidelia Rodriguez.

Ms. Trouten is survived byre daughter Roxanne Walker (Greg) of Franklin, KY. Three sons Basil Trouten Jr. (Karen) of Portland, TN, Mark Trouten of Cartersville, GA and Vincent Trouten (Catrina) of Cartersville, GA. Her sister Adriana Gallegos of San Antonio, TX along with 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Ms. Trouten was preceded in death by her husband Basil Trouten Sr. and three sisters Yolanda Rodriguez, Maria Leonor Mendiola and Rebecca Rodriguez. Ms. Trouten was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Franklin, KY.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Portland, TN with Father Tom Buckman officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY. Visitation will be held from 8:00 AM until service time Saturday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
