Mr. David Rippy, age 68 of Portland, TN died Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at NHC Healthcare in Springfield, TN. Mr. Rippy was born September 15, 1952 in Portland, TN the son of the late Harris and Evelyn Rippy.

Mr. Rippy is survived by his wife, Kim Rippy of Portland, TN. A daughter, Ashley Pond of Portland, TN. A brother, Gary Wayne Rippy (Patricia) of Portland, TN along with three grandchildren Jeremiah Roubideaux, Ethan Pond and Leigh-Anna Dawn Pond.

Mr. Rippy attended Mt Pleasant General Baptist Church in Portland, TN.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Portland, TN. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until service time Saturday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
