Mrs. Cheryl Flatt, age 61 of Portland, TN died Friday, March 12, 2021 at TriStar ER in Portland, TN. Mrs. Flatt was born July 1, 1959 in Gadsden, AL the daughter of the late Gail Parker.

Mrs. Flatt is survived by her husband, Jackie Flatt Jr. of Portland, TN. A stepson, Travis Flatt (Robin) of Portland, TN. Two stepdaughters, April Flatt (Dave Bryant) of Gallatin, TN and Tiffany Flatt of Springfield, TN. Her father, Tommy Smith. Two brothers, Frank Smith and Mitch Parker along with three sisters, Pam Keenum, Brooke Parker and Regina Ferrell. A brother-in-law, Rodney Flatt and mother-in-law Mary Flatt. 16 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 3 nieces and 6 nephews.

Along with her mother, Cheryl was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Martha Beschi and Evie Smith and her grandfathers, Bill Jones and Lee Smith.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Portland, TN. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Springfield, TN. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM Wednesday and from 9:00 AM until service time Thursday at Gilbert Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Travis Flatt, David Case, Dave Bryant, Ricky Calvert, Brandon Brackin and Riley Carter.
