Mr. Charles David Merry, age 72 of Portland, TN died Monday, November 23, 2020 at The Waters of Gallatin in Gallatin, TN. Mr. Merry was born January 8, 1948 in Paullina, Iowa the son of the late Ralph and Betty Merry.

Mr. Merry is survived by two sons, Shannon and Wayne Merry both of Iowa. Three daughters, Brandy Whitfield of Portland, TN, Charlene Wieczorek of Arlington, TN and Heather Schaefer of Hawaii. Two brothers, Roger & Gary Merry, 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Memorial services will be held 6:00 PM Friday, December 4, 2020 at Gilbert Funeral Home inPortland, TN. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until service time Friday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
