Obituary

Ms. Carolyn Sue Greer age 58 of Portland, TN passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Ms. Greer was born October 4, 1962 in Portland, TN the daughter of the late Bobby Wix.

Ms. Greer is survived by her daughter Jaska Green (Travis) of Portland, TN. Her brother Bobby Wayne Wix of Scottsville, KY. Her sister Barbara Jackson of Orlinda, TN. Her mother Edith Wix of Portland, TN. Four grandchildren; Sera Cook, Joshua Cook, Michael Cook and Gracie Cook along with a great granddaughter Aniyah Powell. 

Along with her father, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Joe Greer and her sister Diane McIlveene.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, September 10, 2021 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Portland, TN. Burial will follow at Old Brush Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM Thursday and from 9:00 AM until service time Friday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
