Obituary

Aaron Blayke Adams, Age 29 of Portland, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020.  

Mr. Adams was born in Jacksonville, FL on February 22, 1991 to Harrison Joshua Adams and Wendy Chadick Gordy.  He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Harrison Eugene Adam’s.  He is survived by four children, Elizabeth, Mason Adams, Bentley Rogers, and Oaklyn Star Skahl; grandparents, Aaron (Cathy) Chadick, Deborah (Kenneth) Henson, Danny Everette and Debbie Everette; great grandmother, Edith Kondis; brother, Joseph (Amber) Everette; sister, Jennifer (Jesse) Hand; nieces, Savannah Hand and Mikayla Everette; nephew, Marcus Hand; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.  From a young age Blayke loved working with his grandfathers doing construction work and operating the equipment.  He never met a stranger and loved his family deeply.  

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, December 21, 2020 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Portland, TN with Bro. Victor Creasy officiating. Burial will follow at Old Brush Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM Sunday and from 9:00 AM until service time Monday at Gilbert Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be; Joseph Everette, Jesse Hand, Teddy Joe Roberts, Mike Chadick, Marvin Woolridge and Tristan Collins.
